He has a varied skill set and is unafraid to jump in to take on new challenges. …”

Text with graphics
Explaining how things work with just text is not effective. Combined with great page design, graphics and animated “how-to” screen recordings make learning fun. If done correctly, users shouldn’t have to contact technical support for assistance.
Special care is taken with screen captures (phone, browser, or desktop/laptop apps) are made using the best tools, converted to a consistent, high-quality (at least 144ppi) resolution, with callouts and image borders. (Sorry, no drop shadows—those are old news.)
And with regard to text, a commitment to error-free grammar, adherence to the Chicago Manual of Style, and simple Hemingway-approach to sentence structure and flow works.
… He asks questions to understand the scope and overcommunicates throughout the process to ensure that everyone is kept informed of progress. Timelines were hit and the end products turned out very well.”

Ken was the recent technical editor and overall magazine designer for Better Software magazine.
